Head coach Patrick McCarthy and his staff have guided the baseball program to new heights, with the Eagles winning the NAIA national championship in 2013 and having made four trips to the Avista-NAIA World Series. Faulkner has won the Southern States Athletic Conference championship three of the past four seasons, with the league considered to be one of the most competitive and highly thought of conferences in the country. As many as five teams customarily receive post-season bids each year. Under McCarthy’s leadership, the Faulkner baseball program has established itself as a perennial national power.
